How a UGC campaign runs on UgcBoard

One workflow from brief to payout. The money sits in escrow the whole time.

Brands

  1. Post a campaign. Describe the product, the videos you need, the usage rights and the payout per creator.

  2. Fund it by US bank transfer. The campaign goes live the moment the transfer posts.

  3. Review applications. Each creator comes with a portfolio, a short pitch and a match score.

  4. Select creators. The agreement with scope, license and deadlines is generated from your brief and accepted in the app.

  5. Get deliverables and request up to two rounds of revisions inside the brief.

  6. Approve. The creator is paid automatically and your license is active.

Creators

  1. Create a profile with your portfolio, niches and platforms, and verify that you're 18 or older.

  2. Browse the board and filter by niche, payout, deliverable type and deadline.

  3. Apply in one step with a short pitch.

  4. Accept the agreement, receive the product and film.

  5. Deliver in the app and handle revisions that stay inside the brief.

  6. Get paid by bank transfer after approval, or automatically when the brand's review window ends.

Why brands run UGC on UgcBoard

Owner of a small skincare brand in her shop's back room ticking off delivered creator videos on a printed checklist, a phone playing a vertical video on a stand beside cartons of samples

Escrow that pays out on your approval

Your budget sits in escrow and leaves only for work you approve. If a deadline passes, the published rules decide what happens to the money, not an email thread.

A license with every hire

Every selected creator signs an agreement generated from your brief: organic use, paid ads for 3, 6 or 12 months, whitelisting and raw footage, exactly as you chose.

A match score on every application

Applications are ranked by how well each creator fits your niche, format and requirements. The strongest portfolios sit at the top of your list.

Rights and protection built into every campaign

Usage rights you choose

Organic, paid ads with a set term, whitelisting and raw footage are picked in the brief and written into the agreement.

Creators verified as adults

Every creator confirms identity and age before applying. UgcBoard works only with creators who are 18 or older.

Published dispute rules

Late delivery, missing videos, revisions outside the brief and brands that never review are all covered by fixed rules that everyone sees before they start.

Invoices for every campaign

Each funded campaign comes with an invoice that shows the budget and the platform fee. Creators get a payout confirmation for every job.

Predictable cost per video, and money that moves only on approval

For a head of marketing or finance, UgcBoard turns UGC into a line item you can plan.

Finance lead at a small brand marking up a printed campaign budget sheet with a highlighter in the back office, shelves of plain product boxes behind her and a phone on a stand playing a vertical creator video
  1. You set the payout per creator, so you know the cost per video before you fund.
  2. One 15% fee covers the platform. No retainer, no subscription, no per seat charges.
  3. Money leaves escrow only for approved work. Unspent budget goes back to you under the rules.
  4. Agencies get a workspace and a monthly invoice per client brand.
  5. Licensed usage is on paper for every video, so legal knows what you can run and for how long.

15% platform fee. No subscriptions. No hidden fees.

Posting a campaign and reviewing applications costs nothing. You pay when you fund a campaign, and the fee is part of the budget you set.

UGC jobs and campaigns, common questions

Read all questions

What if a creator doesn't deliver?

The rules give a creator a short grace period after the deadline. After that you can close the spot and the full budget for that spot returns to your balance, fee included.

What if the brand never reviews the videos?

The review window is 5 days. When it ends without a decision, the delivery is approved automatically and the creator is paid.

Who owns the content?

The creator keeps the copyright and grants the brand the license written in the agreement: the platforms, the term and whether paid ads and whitelisting are included.

Can I run the videos as paid ads?

Yes, when the campaign includes paid ad rights. You choose 3, 6 or 12 months and whitelisting in the brief, and the agreement records it.

How and when do creators get paid?

By bank transfer (ACH) to a US bank account, started automatically after approval. Transfers usually arrive within 1 to 3 business days.

What about taxes for creators?

Creators add their tax details (form W-9) once through our payout provider, and 1099 forms are issued through the same provider where they apply.

Is there a minimum budget?

There is no platform minimum. The campaign builder shows when a payout is below the typical US range, because low payouts attract fewer strong applications.

What happens to money I don't spend?

Budget for spots you don't fill, or a campaign you cancel before selecting creators, returns to you under the rules, fee included.

How do you verify age?

Every creator completes identity and age verification before applying. Accounts that can't confirm they are 18 or older can't apply to campaigns.
